Companions in the Spiritual Journey
Interweave's Regional Spiritual Sharing Network

 

Companions is a way for people on an intentional spiritual journey to find a friendly crossroads with other spiritual seekers. Meetings are rooted in Christian imagery and practice, and open to the wisdom of other traditions. Companions are asked to make a commitment to attend seasonal gatherings and at least one overnight retreat. Companions may also choose to participate in a second retreat, monthly spiritual sharing group, worship service or our email discussion list.

Earthy Treasures
Encountering the Holy Stuff of Life

Keep the feast of St. Patrick’s Day by dedicating twenty-four hours to practicing the earthy and embodied spirituality characteristic of Patrick’s Celtic Christianity. Our time together will include presentation, discussion, extended silences, labyrinth walks, and nourishing meals in a beautiful wooded setting.

Taize Chant Services

Join others in this powerful form of group worship using the simple, repetitive chants and prayer created by the Brothers of Taize, France. Taize chant addresses the question “How can all Christians come together to pray?” The hallmark of this way of prayer is simplicity. It permeates the setting, the music, the Bible readings and the silence. The chants require no musical ability, only the willingness to open wide! Spiritual Development Groups

Join with others once a month for an expertly guided monthly experience of meditation, contemplative prayer, focused learning and spiritual sharing. Participants pledge regular attendance.
