Take an afternoon to allow your soul to be nurtured by the insights of Sufi storyteller and teacher Sharif Munawir. “Ours is a way of light,” Pir Vilayat Inayat Khan tells us. Sharif has been studying and teaching the universal Sufi Message of Pir Vilayat Inayat Khan for over forty years. He will lead us as we share reflections on the spiritual path. Beginning with motivation, we will look at what moves us ahead on our path(s), and what we can do to keep going when we encounter the inevitable dry periods where we seem to be going nowhere. The approach will be universal, recognizing all different religious and spiritual traditions. Sharif is an active Christian as well as a Sufi, and is closely familiar with many approaches from teaching comparative religion for many years.

Murshid Sharif Munawir Graham (also known as Donald A. Sharif Graham) was a professor of Literature and Comparative Religion. He worked closely with Pir Vilayat Inayat Khan on several of his books, and edited The Complete Works of Inayat Khan, the seventh volume of which was recently completed.
