The spiritual life is not for the faint of heart, particularly in these troubled times.  How do we cultivate peace in a time of aggression and hostility? The call to repair the world can be heard from sages and prophets across time and cultures; today the earth itself cries out for it.
Interweaving the deep wisdom traditions, we will reflect on how the the call of the sage is often a call to the counter cultural, and look for ways to cultivate peace in uncertain times, moving from crisis to hope.
This three-day intensive experience will explore the challenges of living into that journey through spiritual teaching, reflection and sharing, with a focus on prayer and practice. Themes will include tantric and ecological spirituality and practices such as centering prayer. Join others who are on the spiritual path, and be energized for the life of spiritual insurgency.
