Looking for ways to keep from being too frantic this fall? Our September meditation series Spiritual Survival Tactics for Busy Lives (4 Tuesday nights beginning September 9, 7-8:15 p.m.) may be just the ticket!  

   If you want some intelligent reflection about our country’s major challenges, America at the Crossroads (6 Wednesday mornings beginning September 17, 9:30 –11:30 a.m.) will take a look at environment, energy, cultural polarization, religion in politics and other key issues. 

   Want to explore sacred texts in an interfaith context?  The Talmud for Beginners will compare Christian and Jewish interpretations of Hebrew Bible texts (4 Fridays beg. October 14, 9:30-11:30 a.m.). 

   Our popular Meditation for Moms returns in October (4 Thursdays beginning October 16, 1:30-2:30 p.m.). 

   If you’re in the market of a nifty intergenerational event, don’t miss the All Hallows’ Celebration  (Sunday, November 2 at 6 p.m. in New Vernon).  There will be mask-making, remembering loved ones who have departed, the sight of a cemetery ablaze with candle light, cider and gingerbread!
