Eight Saturdays Gatherings: six virtual and two in-person
And a Closing in-person retreat in May
In a world that is changing on almost every front, in a world where there is a sense of dread about the future, where even spirituality seems devoid of answers, who among us is not in search of living wisdom?
Seeker Saturday is a collaborative learning circle in a year-long exploration of an aspect of spiritual life through study, contemplation and sharing. Our theme this year is –
In Search of Living Wisdom.
The chosen books for reflection are: “Life After Doom: Wisdom and Courage for a World Falling Apart” by Brian D. McLaren and “The Not-Yet God: Carl Jung, Teilhard de Chardin, and the Relational Whole” by Ilia Delio. In a contentious time, “Life after Doom” offers hope for the future and in this axial age for both religion and spirituality, “The Not-Yet God” invites us into a new theology where “everything is connected” These books set the table for well curated conversations that can open us to living wisdom.
During these monthly spiritual seminars, facilitators reflect on the readings for the month. Discussion, journaling and sharing follow. Time is set aside for quiet reflection, prayer, and sharing that honors our distinct paths. Seekers all, participants and facilitators come together to share sacred stories and support one another on the spiritual journey.
All are welcome to join us as we explore ways of opening ourselves to mystery and the unfolding of living wisdom.
