A Learning Community’s – Year-long Spiritual Exploration – Third Saturdays: 9:15 am – 1:15 pm – Through May (Nov. 18 @ Calvary in Summit), Dec 16, Jan.20, Feb. 17, Mar. 16, Apr. 20, Retreat: May 18,19 @ CSJB, Mendham, NJ.

Many of us encounter challenges of loss and find change unsettling, especially a growing awareness of our mortality as we move through the stages of life. These, coupled with the sense of uncertainty we are experiencing in our world, can be daunting. How can we attune ourselves and discern a path to harmonious living?

In this year’s spiritual exploration, we turn to the wisdom of Ignatius Loyola and weave a Buddhist perspective into our sharing as we navigate our way to living fully in the face of deep change.

Join us for this year-long spiritual journey as we explore ways of opening ourselves to transformation in these challenging times. We move as an authentic learning cooperative, sharing our insights on the spiritual journey. Together, we will explore pathways to our deeper selves through prayer, study, and sharing spiritual practices.

Our primary texts will be “The Call to Discernment in Troubled Times” by Dean Brackley and “The Five Invitations: Discovering What Death Can Teach Us About Living Fully” by Frank Ostaseski.

The group meets monthly on Zoom in addition, there is one in-person meeting and an end-of-year retreat.
