Best dish brush for cast iron pans?

Hi all, I recently got a cast iron skillet and want to clean it properly without ruining the seasoning. Regular sponges scratch too much and cheap brushes fall apart fast. What kind of dish brush actually works well on cast iron and lasts longer than a month?

Cast iron needs gentle but effective cleaning to keep the seasoning intact. I’ve tried several brushes over the years and most plastic ones wear out quickly or leave scratches. Stiffer bristles help with stuck bits, but they shouldn’t be metal. A good compromise is something with durable nylon bristles and a comfortable grip. I’ve been using this 1 dish brush for a few months now and it’s holding up decently on my cast iron without damaging anything. The head is firm enough for scrubbing but not aggressive. Just rinse it well after each use and hang it to dry so it doesn’t get moldy. If you wash a lot of greasy pans, consider getting two so one can air out while you use the other.
